In spite of their ages, Bonds, Aurillia, and Kent all had their best years by far with PacBell as their home ballpark. Since I haven’t seen a ballpark adjustment factor for artificially increased levels of testosterone, I’m going to leave that out of my analysis. Because the data doesn’t exist and American jurisprudence doesn’t allow specific conclusions without confession or trial, we’ll have to assume that every team has an equal amount of equally enhanced humanoids.

Snow, who has had an erratic career, had nearly identical seasons in 1999 and 2000. He wasn’t helped by the move like the others, but he clearly wasn’t hurt either. Chart 2 shows hitters who were Giants in intermission and others who were regulars in other home ballparks and PacBell in recent seasons.
